FILMMAKER Q & A

How many veterans of the 507th are still with us today?
Phil: The actual number of living 507th veterans is unknown, though it is estimated that 300-400 may still be alive. About 100 veterans remain active in the 507th Parachute Infantry Association. The group typically meets once a year for an association meeting. A small number will return to Normandy in 2004 for the 60th anniversary of D-Day.
