ABOUT THE FILM

FILMMAKER Q & A

What legacy or tradition of the 507th remains today?
David: In the film, we note that the 507th was deactivated after the war. Several years ago the regiment was reactived at Fort Benning in Columbus, Ga. The regiment has one battalion currently commanded by Lt. Col. Aidis Zunde, who is featured in our film. The 507th serves as the jump school trainers for all paratroopers in the armed services.
